Outstanding Papers and Authors Honored at the Closing Ceremony of the First Annual Scientific Conference on Enhancing Ship Pilots’ Technical Knowledge

According to Bandar & Darya, the First Annual Scientific and Specialized Conference on Enhancing the Technical Knowledge of Negin Sabz Middle East Ship Pilots concluded after two days of sessions on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Anzali Port.

At the closing ceremony, 12 selected papers presented during the conference, along with their authors and the event organizers, were honored by Negin Sabz Middle East Company with certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts.

The ceremony was attended by Siavash Rezvani, CEO of Negin Sabz Middle East; Ali Akbar Marzban, Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy Head of Maritime Affairs of the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran; Elmorad Afifipour, Director General of Maritime Affairs; Asghar Fallahi, Deputy Director General of Maritime Affairs; Mehdi Farmehini Farahani, Director General of Seafarers and International Specialized Organizations; Hossein Younesi, Director General of Ports and Maritime Administration of Gilan Province; and Ali-Jan Aliakbari, CEO of Amin Iranian Ports Holding.

At the beginning of the ceremony, appreciation was extended to Ali-Asghar Rezaei, a veteran seafarer with more than 50 years of dedicated service, followed by recognition of Peyman Derakhshan Nik, Secretary of the First Annual Ship Pilots Conference, and Saeed Azadeh, Manager of the Anzali Branch of Negin Sabz Middle East, in recognition of their efforts in organizing and conducting the event.Subsequently, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the authors of the selected papers, including Hossein Mokhlesian, Saeed Karimi, Mohammadali Mamari, Reza Shahmoradi, Saman Karimi, Saeed Ostadsandiani, Meysam Fooladi, Ali Mahmoudi, Pouya Keshtkar, Mostafa Beijani, Iraj Niyazkhani, Mohammad Nikpour, and Norouz Bahaa, in acknowledgment of their valuable scientific and technical contributions.
